Indian travellers will now have it easier to visit the country, as the UAE has loosened entry restrictions and coronavirus precautions that were earlier in place.
According to the Live Mint, UAE’s Ambassador to India Dr. Ahmed Albanna stated that travelers from India regardless of whether they have tourist or work visas will be allowed to enter the UAE with eased protocols of the coronavirus. Albanna further stated, “This has been done in light of the upcoming Expo 2020”.
“We have also created a mechanism to issuing visas and expediting issuing of visas to all people and foreigners to visit the Dubai Expo” stated the ambassador while giving information about Expo 2020 Dubai, which will run from 1 October to 31 March 2022.
Speaking with media, H.E. @drahmedalbanna described the #Expo2020 an important milestone for the UAE as it coincides with the UAE’s 50’s anniversary.
