It’s a blink-and-you-miss-it sort of appearance but Dubai’s metro station can be seen in the new Star Trek beyond teaser. The gold shell-shaped roof (which has been inspired by UAE’s pearl diving heritage) makes an appearance in the first few seconds of the video. Producer Jeffry Chernov had pointed out during a press conference for the film last year that they were searching for the future and found it in Dubai.
