Two Emirati friends have tried to answer the unanswerable question. What IS the best biryani in Sharjah and Dubai?
Mohammad Sultan Thani and Majed Al Shamsi visited 54 restaurants over a period of nine months between the two Emirates and now they are ready to deliver the coveted award of best biryani…
The friends behind the momentous task have gained a pretty impressive following on social media over the last couple of months, with over 63,000 tags #bestbiryani (in English and Arabic), it looks like everyone wants to help the boys find the best spot.
To keep things clear, the foodies rated each dish by quality of ingredients, taste, presentation, cleanliness and price before making a decision.
As told to Arabian Business, after visiting 54 restaurants as regular customers, the boys shortlisted their top five choices and then told those five places about the competition. After that the boys went for a final meal at each one before choosing the ultimate winner.
The restaurant is based in Al Yarmook and a plate of this biryani will set you back just AED 15.
