Martyrs Day, or Commemoration Day, is when the UAE unites to remember all the servicemen and women who have given their lives for their country. This is the second year November 30th will be a National Holiday, it comes two days before National Day. The first person lost their life on November 30th 1971, however, this has escalated in recent years given the conflict in Yemen. The families of all the Martyrs have launched a #The_UAE_Remembers campaign to mark Commemoration Day.
