A thoughtful gesture is doing the rounds on social media and it’s the kindest thing.

It’s a Dubai idea that could grow legs, ‘cus the premise is so simple. You simply need to order your meal, wait till the rider is assigned and then text the rider to let them know that you’re gifting them your meal. Film maker and Insta user AhmadRaslann is one of many people sharing an Insta Story to spread the idea of the thoughtful deed.
Not only will the drivers get to enjoy the meal, they can also enjoy a short break for the duration of the delivery
There are other ways you can show appreciation to delivery drivers for their efforts, particularly during summer, you can have water bottles on standby to hand out when a driver comes to your door
