Manal Rostom, a Dubai based Egyptian and all-round inspiring female was invited to speak at Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto, San Francisco this week.

Manal, who was previously chosen to debut the Nike hijab pro in the New York Marathon, was there to speak about the Facebook group she’s founder of  ‘Surviving Hijab’.

The closed group has just surpassed 600,000 members, and is a very real support group for every lady who has taken the decision to wear the hijab, a motivational and inspiring group for hijabis to share their stories, thoughts, highs and lows with the motto ‘Keep Veiled and Carry On’
