Dubai-Based Miss Uganda Needs Residents’ Support As She’ll Soon Take On Miss World

Avatar

Winning Miss Uganda was more than a feat for Dubai student Oliver Nakakande, who recently took home the crown for her friendly persona and other attributes that won the hearts of the judges and audience.

But as every pageant enthusiast would know, winning your country’s official title adds you to the running for global pageants, like Miss World. This is when the support of the Ugandan and Dubai communities are necessary.

Nakakande will bring pride to Uganda by taking part in the prestigious Miss World 2019

The 24-year-old will take on the 69th edition of the Miss World pageant, to be held on December 14, 2019, at the ExCel in London, UK. Last year’s titleholder, Vanessa Ponce of Mexico, will then crown her successor at the end of the pageant.
