5 Things That Emirates Has Nailed With Its New Ad

Avatar

Friends star, Jennifer Aniston was recently in the news because of Brangelina divorce. The episode brought out memes on her. And now she’s back again…

This time it’s for an Emirates advert. After teasing us for a few days, Emirates has released the minute-and-a-half long video of the star and her new friend on board.

It’s an adorable one and delivers the message it has to (ie: fly with Emirates), but does it hit the mark like last year’s ad (the one that went viral and got a thumbs up for practically everyone)? We don’t think so, but for now it is doing well and here are some things they’ve got right.

This is it…

1. They raised a hell lot of curiosity with its teasers

Obvs, it had people wondering whether Jen’s “friend” would be Brad Pitt.

2. It makes economy travel look so easy

If Jen can leave her first class seat for one in economy, anyone can. Right? You have to give it to them for convincing us that economy seats in Emirates are the best.

3. It provides a little inspiration

Whether you’re little or an adult, you defo want to be a pilot on an airline that’s as amazing as Emirates. Quite a ‘moment of pride’ if you do become one.

4. It makes you want to travel first class at least ONCE in your life

Of course there are people for whom first class travel is a way of life, but for the rest of us this ad has just created travel goals. Now who wouldn’t want to shower and dry their hair at 35,000ft?

5. It fills you with hope

Someday you might sit next to an Aniston-like co-passenger. Who knows?
