This weekend was another step in Team Angel Wolf‘s journey.
The Dubai based family made up of Dad Nick Watson, mom Delphine, son Rio and daughter Tia take part in races and sporting events to promote healthy living and encourage inclusion of people with disabilities.
Though ‘take part’ is an understatement as they can count the toughest sporting challenges of the year under their belt.
Nick and Delphine’s son Rio was diagnosed with Q44 Deletion De Novo, which means that he has trouble with walking and speaks through sign language but his family ensure he never misses a race.
This weekend their achievements were acknowledged by both HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and HH Sheikh Hamdan, Crown Prince of Dubai…
It’s not the first time the royals have greeted the family (Fazza ran with Rio and Tia at the end of last year).
And just last week, Nick and Rio took part in the Iron Man 70.3, following the Dubai Marathon just two weeks pervious and they’ve completed a total of 112 races to date.
