When Childish Gambino’s ‘This Is America’ was released it shocked eyeballs the world over.

The video depicts America as a gun-touting nation, with references to previous gun attacks and street violence as a casual act, it’s a chilling watch.

And now an Iraqi Dubai-based rapper has done an Iraq version, and it’s getting attention from international media.

‘This is America’ has over 345 million YouTube views

I-NZ is an Iraqi-New Zealander rapper based in Dubai, and he’s calling out abuses by the US to the Middle Eastern country

Set in a similar warehouse, watch how a man is taken by soldiers and forced to kill his fellow country man

I-NZ stated his song was a ‘great opportunity to use the platform to get a message about Iraq, which otherwise would have never gained the kind of exposure it’s currently gaining.’

He points out that he represents Iraqis who live abroad ‘as a consequence of what has happened there over the past couple of decades,’ according to an Arab News report .

His dream is for Iraq to return to its former glory. “I’d like Iraqis to unite against corruption, greed, violence and international interference in order to pursue peace and hope for a brighter future.”

Keep an eye out for this Dubai based rapper
