Dubai’s skyline is world-famous.

Littered with skyrises, it’s easy for stand out architecture to get lost among the masses, but one Business Bay beauty, which is simply world-class, is unmissable.

And now it’s being recognised for an award.

The Opus by Zaha Hadid was designed by the late Zaha Hadid. The Iraqi-British architecture was no stranger to awards as the first woman to receive the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004 and from there the awards and recognition for her work rolled in.

Most recently, Hadid, who passed in 2016 has been shortlisted for a World Architecture Festival 2019 award for The Opus

It’s one of four designs by Zaha Hadid Architects to receive the nod

The Opus is designed as two towers which come together to take the form of a cube and represents the ‘inventive quality of ZHA’s work’
