Located right after Mall of the Emirates, and right before the Marina, Barsha Heights has a personality that individuals are bound not to find anywhere else.
The community, that was previously called TECOM, is not only one of the most convenient areas in Dubai, but also one that is vibrant with activity and tons of activities to do throughout the week.
So if you didn’t know, now you know. Here are 9 reasons why Barsha Heights is one of the best places to live in (without breaking the bank).
How amazing is it that there are TWO huge Carrefour’s and a Geant the size of a mall within walking distance from each other? You’ll never go short on groceries.
But what we really live for are the amount of little shops like Speedway and Bluemart that are always ready to deliver (WHATEVER the time is).

For all those who really aren’t about that dorm life but study at AUD or Knowledge Village, TECOM has become one of the most ideal spots for students due to its prices, the community, and how close it is to get to campus from there.
Running across the metro to get home like:
Always wanted to live in JBR or the Marina? But the way your bank account is set up…
Well, that’s one of the essences of living in Barsha Heights – it’s not exactly the beach vibes you might be looking for, but for half the price of what you would pay in JBR you could get a stunning flat that faces the waters directly!
Additionally – everything is JUST ten minutes away.

Apart from all the bars and clubs situated all over the little community, our FAV spot in the whole world is located right in the heart of our beloved Barsha Heights.
Shout out Rock Bottom, you’re unforgettable! (No pun intended)
Ok. I know what you guys are thinking but that’s NOT what I mean.
Honestly though, TECOM is filled with a thousand spas, barbers and beauty centres that are ideal for a little pampering. Whether you fancy getting a foot massage, your nails done or your weekly hair cut, you’ll find everything you need.
Home to probably more than 10 different types of hotels, TECOM is literally the place for all your needs.
Whether you’re looking for a fun staycation or a relaxing sort of holiday, there’s a different spot for every single individual.
ALSO – Tryp by Wyndham just opened and their offers are absolutely CRAZY.
Taqado, Chin Chin, Praxx’s, Zaatar w Zeit, Costa Coffee, Burger King, Nar, and Nando’s.
All walking distance around Tecom.
I told you – there’s absolutely nothing you can’t find out here.

The greatest part of being in Tecom, honestly.
With absolutely almost no traffic lights around the small sized community, everyone is always constantly moving at a fast pace – steering away from cars piling up on top of each other trying to get home…Business Bay, we’re looking at you.
Saw two cars today going in the wrong direction in the same roundabout. Really, TECOM?
