There are SO MANY brunches in Dubai, at so many different venues – it can be tough to know where to begin, and which is going to give you the best day out.
ESPECIALLY when you’re celebrating, you want the brunch to be 10/10.
So we’ve gone out and done the leg-work for you – and found the best places in town to celebrate a birthday, or any big event… or even just to celebrate the fact that it’s the weekend really…
Mr Miyagi’s is festive at any time of the year, with its kitsch decor, hilarious performers and buckets of cocktails. The Mr Miyagi’s brunch packages make for a boozy day (and night) out, and the timings mean you can lie in a little later.
Time: 3-6pm or 8-11pm.
Cost: AED275 per person incl house beverages.
Let’s face it – the Aussies know how to party, and old favourite, Yalumba is perfect for a celebration thanks to its live entertainment, balloons on every table, and bubbly atmosphere.
You’ll basically feel like its your birthday any time you head here.
Time: 12.30-3.30pm.
Cost: AED389 with sparkling, AED529 with Laurent Perrier La Cu.
Complete with hilarious lip-sync battles, and karaoke, Lucky Voice knows how to celebrate a special occasion.
The food is good – albeit stodgy (exactly what you need prior to a night here), and it’s loads of fun.

The Warehouse brunch at Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Center is THE party brunch to hit if you want to start the party from the second you arrive.
This one is less about the food and more about the endless flow of drinks, which you can fetch for yourself or get served directly to your table. The best part? This one turns into a full-on club at 4pm… B-day party mode ON
Time: 1-4pm
Cost: AED259 including house beverages
An oldie but a goodie, Saffron brunch is the one you hear stories about. The brunch offers OTT everything – including clientele. There are drink-stations galore, around 220 different foodie offerings and it’s all party party party.
Time: 12.30-4pm
Cost: AED535 per person including house drinks.
A staple of the Dubai party crowd, Al Qasr is a big brunch – as in it sprawls over three restaurants and plenty of outdoor areas, and is a bit of an iconic brunch thanks to a backdrop of the Burj Al Arab, overlooking Madinat water-ways and gorgeous outdoor seating.
This brunch will cost you though – it ain’t cheap.

Cost: AED625 with bubbly and house drinks, AED730 including Champagne.
A new kid on the block, Axe House brunch is a rather boozy affair, and is well worth the money.
With a tapas-style sharing concept, it’s not about a buffet, it’s a funky sharing platter style, with PLENTY of drinks (including cocktails, and a bottle of booze on your table when you arrive!) and cheesy pop songs.
Time: 1-4pm
Cost: AED350 including house drinks
The Jazz@Pizza Express brunch is a little more mellow than some of the other brunches around town, but it doesn’t make it any less of a hoot. The reasonably priced brunch serves up quality food selections from their existing menu, a la carte, and has a fun cocktail menu – with plenty of fun entertainment too.
Time: 12-4pm
Cost: AED210 including house drinks
The City Brunch is a bit of an undiscovered gem in this city, with its HUGE array of dishes, its chefs DJing and partying along with the best of them, and SO MUCH FUN.

Cost: AED 395 inclusive of house beverages, AED550 including premium bubbly.
A party-party-party brunch, there’s no doubt why everyone heads to Wanderlust brunch. It’s recently expanded into Japanese resto Izakaya as well, just to get more seating and food into the brunch. There’s a beautiful outdoor terrace, cheesy pop music and a huge selection of food – and a massive afterparty in Square nightclub after brunch too.
It’s colourful, it’s fun, and it’s oh-so-boozy.
Time: 1-4pm.
Cost: AED425 including Prosecco and house drinks.
