Cinco De Mayo Is On Thursday And The Margaritas Will Be Flowing In Dubai

Avatar

Cinco de Mayo. Heard of it but have no clue what it is? No problem. The 5th of May celebration is held annually and commemorates the Mexican army’s unlikely victory over the French forces at the Battle of Puebla, not to be confused with Mexico’s Independence Day which is held on September 16th.

Lost us? Just think sombrero’s, tequila, taco’s, margarita’s and awesome music. Here’s the low down on how you can get your Cinco de Mayo fix here in Dubai…

The Stables Bar & Restaurant, Sheikh Zayed Road

Kicking Cinco de Mayo off tonight at 23.59pm on the dot until 3am is The Stables Bar & Restaurant. With live tunes from Rhythm Nation from 10.30 pm to 2.30 am, the margarita’s will be flowing. As well as free merchandise (let’s hope there’s a few fake moustaches included), loads of prizes will be up for grabs too so make sure to enter them! If you happen to get there early, don’t fret – their resident band will be playing from 7.30pm onwards.
