This Friday marks the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon.

There will be road closures starting from late Thursday night as both serious and fun runners take part in the marathon, the 10km and a 4km fun run.

And come tomorrow morning, there will be thousands of hungry runners and supporters roaming the Jumeirah area.
