While there are plenty indoor activities to keep you amused in Dubai and out of the heat, there’s a lot to be said for a Netflix marathon.

Here are some shows to keep you busy for a few hours, or days.

1. Gossip Girl

Follow the lavish lifestyles of the Upper East siders Serena, Blair, Chuck, Nate and Dan in this cult teen drama. They may be privileged but that doesn’t stop an anonymous “Gossip Girl” from revealing all their secrets.

2. Pretty Little Liars

3. Breaking Bad

One of the original binge-worthy box sets of all time, this series showcases the life of Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. Realizing that his illness probably will ruin his family financially, Walter makes a desperate bid to earn as much money as he can in the time he has left.

4. Making A Murderer 

Filmed over a 10-year period, Making a Murderer is an unprecedented real-life thriller about a DNA exoneree who, while in the midst of exposing corruption in local law enforcement, finds himself the prime suspect in a grisly new crime. Set in America’s heartland, the series takes viewers inside a high-stakes criminal case where reputation is everything and things are never as they appear.

5. House Of Cards 

A ruthless politician will stop at nothing to conquer Washington D.C. The series’s Golden Globe winning stars Kevin Spacey (as Francis Underwood) and Robin Wright (as Claire Underwood), whose characters have always been each other’s strongest allies,  start to show cracks in their relationship.

6. Gilmore Girls

Not only do you get Gilmore Girls the classic binge worthy show, but you also get a reboot of the classic as we get a glimpse into the current lives of the characters in Gilmore Girls: A Year In A Life.

Follow Lorelai and Rory, the fast-talking, coffee-loving, mother-daughter duo, along with many other cast members in Stars Hollow.
