Pizza pizza pizza…is there anyone who doesn’t love the carbtastic food of champions? No, we didn’t think so! In that case you’re going to love this line-up of the best pizza in Dubai…how many can you tick off the list?
Better known for its French cuisine and artistic flair, La Cantine du Faubourg probably isn’t the first place you’d think of when it comes to pizza. Well, let us tell you something…it’s hiding a very well-kept secret in the shape of a delicious truffle pizza.
It’s the only pizza on the menu…but when your pizza is this good – you only need one! La Cantine du Faubourg’s ‘Pizza à la truffe’ features soft mozzarella cheese, delicate truffle oil, unctuous truffle paste, fresh chives, generous black pepper and truffle shavings. That’s one yummy posh pizza!
No ‘best pizza’ list would be complete without pizza masters ‘Pizza Express‘, When you can’t be bothered to think too hard, but you just want a good pizza, that won’t let you down…then this place is your answer. Either step into one of the restaurants, we love Jazz@Pizza Express in JLT, or order from the comfort of your sofa. Prices are around AED 60, try their best sellers: Pomodoro Pesto Leggera and American Hot Romana (pictured below).
This cute Italian, tucked away behind Jumeirah Plaza, has a whole pizza section on the menu, with all the traditional varieties included. But what makes Per Te stand out, is the fact it’s the only place in Dubai that serves a pizza that uses straciatella cheese (usually used as the centre of burrata) instead of mozzarella. The cheese is softer, richer and creamier than mozzarella…and makes this pizza taste truly wonderful. It’s served with a rocket and cherry semi-dried tomato topping.
Don’t fancy eating in? Per Te claims to be the only restaurant in Dubai that uses Ventit Pizza Boxes for delivery, the slits in the box ensure all vapour exits the box…meaning there’s no soggy bottoms.
Sometimes you don’t want a beautiful posh pizza with all the fancy toppings, sometimes you’ve got a dirty rotten hangover and you need a cure, or you just want to be super bad! Sheikh and Shake will sort you out…trust us! This place isn’t shy with portions or ingredients…we’ve never seen so much cheese on a huge pizza! And the prices are great too, large pizzas start at AED 40 (add a drink and delicious fries for AED 10). If you’re feeling super naughty…splash out on a Kit Kat milkshake…yum!

Everything at Atlantis The Palm is bigger and better…and this is no exception. Ronda Locatelli, the resort’s Italian offering, is not only generous when it comes to portion size…it’s pretty generous when it comes to taste too. Try the Sundried Tomato with Pine Nut Pizza or the Basil Mozzarello Tomato one, like we did, and prepare to be wowed. Pop in for the ‘Pizza A Pranzo’ from Sunday To Thursday (12:00pm to 5:00pm) and get a pizza and Peroni or signature mocktail for AED 100.
We all know it for it being an amazing beach club, for chilling out to good tunes and maybe even for the tasty burgers. But did you know Riva also does some of the best pizza in Dubai? Choose from round or rectangular – served on a cool wooden board and served straight to your sun lounger. Choose from over 15 different varieties and there’s the option to have gluten free for an extra AED 10.
The restaurant formerly known as Toscana…now Trattoria Toscana in Souk Madinat Jumeirah, is well known for its simple, rustic Tuscan cuisine…so there’s no surprise that they do a mean pizza! Think huge portions, bench style seating and an air filled with the delicious smell of Italian cooking. The pizzas taste fresh and light…but flavoursome at the same time. We recommend the Capricciosa and the Bresaola…just yummy!
With outlets all over Dubai, 800 pizza is the place many of us choose for a quick, no-fuss pizza delivery. And rightfully so, the pizzas are delicious, huge and piled high with ingredients. Best sellers include: Salami and Pepperoni, Margherita Con Bufala and Chicken Pizza Pollastrona…but personally we love the Veggie Classic, piled high with loads of roasted vegetables, prices are around AED 55 for a classic pizza.

This gem is hidden in the Radisson Blu hotel in Media City and might be the most underrated Italian restaurant in Dubai. The pizzas are huge, with the freshest ingredients, just perfect for folding up slices (especially the Bufalina) and eating with your hands…even in what is a pretty posh restaurant. Pizzas start at around AED 80, but Certo’s on Entertainer, so it doesn’t matter!

We love pizza in the Lovin Dubai office…so, we wouldn’t give this number one place away very easily! We fell in love with Solo at Raffles Dubai the first time we went there, and have been going back for the delicious Italian cuisine ever since. Everything we’ve ever eaten in there is delicious but the wood-fired pizzas are OUT OF THIS WORLD. With over 20 pizzas to choose from, there’s definitely something for everyone, our favourite is still the Bufalina, with it’s thin crust, fresh tomatoes, basil, and of course huge chunks of buffalo mozzarella. But if that sounds a bit meh for you, there’s plenty of meat options, there’s even a pizza with lobster and another with sea scallops!
If you haven’t tried pizza at Solo…get moving ASAP!
