The act of grabbing Chai Karak, otherwise known as Karaking, is totally a thing in Dubai and is done throughout the entire year – no matter how hot or cold it is outside. 

Driving around Jumeirah is a clear example of Karaking – you will always find cars lining up on the side of the street for this inexpensive cup of tea at different hours in the day.

Karak tea is boiled on a low flame and is made with a combination of black tea, milk, sugar and Indian spices – often cardamon, cloves, ginger and cinnamon.
