Dubai Metro was the main form of transport and ultimately the most preferred choice as 974,416 riders used it that day

The second most used transport method was Dubai Taxis with 590,869 passengers. 401,510 people used public buses, 167,051 used E-hail vehicles, and 97,261 chose to use Marine transport. The tram saw 56,208 riders and 1,316 people shared transport vehicles.

RTA confirmed that it was a smooth and safe ride for passengers to and from the New Year’s Eve celebration venues, thanks to an integrated plan well-coordinated with concerned entities in Dubai.

Just like every year, it was very well organised and passengers reached their homes safely.
