It’s the one you’ve been waiting for.
The Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens is hereeee!
Which means three days of rugby… and so much more.
As the event has evolved into a must-visit on the Dubai calendar, so too has the level of entertainment and action, on and OFF the pitch. This year, Sevens is going seventies themes, there’s a huge entertainment zone for the kids, a Freddie Mercury tribute, Kylie Minogue, stages, tribute acts and more.
Kylie Minogue isn’t the only one blasting out old schools tracks, this year the event is coming alive with multiple stages dedicated to the past five decades of music.
The Green Tavern Tent will be dedicated to the decade that started it all – the 70s with an 80s disco in the Green Room and a 90s Rock Zone in the Green Space on Friday. On Saturday, 00s and 10s tunes will take over, coming full circle for five decades of tunes.

The Tavern: live feeds with all the rugby playing, a 70s playback’ stage in the centre, and a bucket load of great tribute acts.
The green Room: Sevens has a nightclub and this is it! It’s a silent disco with 80s tunes, which Candypants will take over on Saturday. Think confetti, inflatables and party props.
Green Space: A 90s themed open-air stage featuring tributes from the best of the 90s including a Green Day Tribute, an Oasis Tribute and many more.
