A Dubai Resident Sold A Funko Signed By Post Malone To Pay For Rent During The Pandemic

The Objective? To thank Post Malone in real life in his concert taking place in Abu Dhabi on 3 December

Like many, Dubai resident Moey Shawash found himself in a difficult situation and lost his job when the pandemic overtook the world.

Unable to pay his rent, he put his quick-thinking to use and decided to sell a funko of Post Malone signed by the man himself. He earned enough from that to pay his dues but now it seems he will not rest until he has personally thanked his unintentional saviour.

Moey now dreams of meeting Post Malone “Posty” in real life at one of his upcoming concerts in the UAE or in KSA. Moey is leaving no stones unturned and has booked tickets for both the shows taking place in Abu Dhbai and Riyadh. He’s not willing to risk losing out on meeting his rescuer.

Mooey took to Instagram to share his story and is hoping that the internet does it’s magic

Who knew funkos could come in handy enough to save you in your difficult time of need? Well, folks, crazier things have happened out there and this is just one of them. Don’t you agree that it will be cool if Moey does get to meet Posty?

Sounds like a movie, no?

Well, ladies and gentlemen, living in Dubai gets more and more movie-like by the day. Here’s to seeing what happens with this story. As always, Lovin Dubai shall keep you posted!
