The video took the internet by storm and people were thinking this was filmed in Dubai. Here are the details of the story…
The one-minute-long video shows the rider eating some of the food and taking small sips from the beverages. The receipt can be seen attached to the bag. Some people thought he was eating his own meal but others concurred this is a customer’s order.

After finding out this was a cancelled order, people had a different opinion on the video. They @ahmad375763 tweeted “Sometimes the customers are cancelling their orders and Sometimes also they give them to eat, if he is eating customers food why he doesn’t want to hide place? On the road really??? Come on there is a security seal on the orders box? how come please.”
People on Twitter have been sharing ideas to ensure this does not happen again. @noorabucheeri_ recommended cameras be placed inside the delivery boxes. And @AlammariF suggested that the delivery box only opens using a QR code that is activated by the customer upon receiving the order.
Thank you for raising your concern.
We have investigated and we found that this was a canceled order.
However, this behavior goes against our health policies therefore the rider has been suspended. We had sent reminder to all riders to abide by our health and safety guidelines.— Talabat (@Talabat) July 29, 2023
