Most often, when we forget something in public transport it is considered gone. Well, this isn’t the case in Dubai! This country ALWAYS puts humanity first and numerous incidents can serve as proof.

This is one such incident!

A Nigerian taxi driver has been honoured by Dubai Police for returning AED100,000 to someone who left the money in his cab

Abraham Airaodiaon, who works for Sharjah Taxi Corporation found the money in his taxi and contacted officials to help return the money to its rightful owner.

It is unclear when the incident happened, but the organization was delighted at his honesty and honoured him on Monday, 13 December 2021

Well, this is certainly the ONLY country where you can hear such things happen, re-insitlling our faith in humanity!

And, this is not the first time something like this has happened. Years ago, an Emirati national was honoured by Dubai Police for returning AED3,000 to someone who left the money in an ATM.

The man found the money in an ATM at a petrol station and contacted Dubai Police to help return the money to the owner. The man who left the money was identified by the CCTV at the station and said he left the money because he was in a rush to beat traffic.

ONLY IN DUBAI! 🙂
