Andrew Tate continues to spend time in Dubai after an event he was anticipated to host, was cancelled.

Tate was a social media personality and former kickboxer who was banned from social platforms, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and TikTok, for violating community guidelines considered to be misogynistic remarks. The anti-women content he produced was upheld as a danger to the following he gained, mainly young men. Racking up billions of views, social media platforms cancelled his accounts, reducing his ability to amplify his views to large numbers.

Tate was due to host his first live speaking event in Dubai, but following massive backlash, the event was cancelled.

Cancelled event

41 Tenets of Andrew Tate was cancelled as per the organizer’s instructions. The Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai-approved event was due to take in association with Meisters Club and would have been Tate’s first live public speaking event since his internet cancellation.

Lovin Dubai announced the event, and amid a massive public outcry, the event was cancelled. Related promotions were removed, including the Lovin Dubai post. The event host issued a statement and tickets are being refunded.

Lovin Dubai would like to apologise for the post and the response it triggered.

Meisters Club shared this statement

Following further review & consideration, we’ve decided to cancel the event. The sold out event was to involve open, respectful, positive discussion & not in anyway cause offence.

The event did not go ahead, however, Tate’s visit to Dubai has been well documented on social media- Tate has been pictured with Amir Khan, MMA fighters, visiting prominent businessman Saif Belhasa’s home and most recently footage of Tate praying has gone viral.

Tate has previously denied accusations that he is anti-women, following the social media ban he released a statement, “I have nothing but positivity to spread regarding all people, whether male or female, and this has been reflected in all of my recent messaging and posts.”
