Don’t forget to check out the smashed burger, that comes either from Wagyu Beef (The Wagyu Smasher) or Angus Beef (The Smasher). A food truck turned burger restaurant, SALT is a homegrown venue by two female restauranteurs. It’s all about serving great food and fostering community. After gaining a loyal crowd of customers – or SALTERS as they prefer to be called – at its first location on Kite Beach, the brand quickly expanded to other popular spots, including La Mer, and even ventured beyond the city.
Strong on values, SALT often reiterates its commitment to quality ingredients, sourcing locally, using sustainable products where possible, supporting small businesses, enjoying nature and crafting social experiences around food, art and music.

High Joint is possibly the smallest eatery in all of Dubai, with just a few stools to perch on. But what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in impact.
The freshly-grilled burgers are a marvel, with the signature High Jamz being a multiple-award winner. If you are a fried chicken fan, opt for the Buffalo version, while vegetarians won’t go hungry either as they’ve fashioned a special halloumi one that will get your tastebuds tingling. The sides are spectacular too, with the cauliflower Buffalo wings and high truffle fries being popular choices.
