BREAKING: A Helicopter Carrying Two Pilots Crashed Into The Sea Near The Coast Of Dubai

On Thursday evening, a helicopter with two pilots on board crashed into the sea near Dubai’s coast. Authorities are currently investigating the incident.

The helicopter was carrying an Egyptian and a South African pilot

As reported by WAM news agency, a Bell 212 medium helicopter, carrying both an Egyptian and a South African pilot, departed from Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport for a nighttime training exercise.

The Air Accident Investigation Sector of the General Civil Aviation Authority was notified of the crash on Thursday at 8:30 PM

The incident is said to have occurred in the Arabian Gulf, off the coast of Dubai.

According to WAM’s statement, the sector announced that search and rescue teams have effectively retrieved the wreckage of the helicopter that crashed

The search and rescue teams have recovered the wreckage, and the search is still under way for the plane’s crew, and the air accident investigation team has moved to the site.

A team from the air accident investigation department has been promptly sent to the crash site to initiate their investigation into the incident
