BREAKING: The 20% Diversity Policy In The UAE Has Been Put On Hold

BREAKING: The controversial 20% diversity quota policy in the UAE has now been put on hold.

Earlier last week Lovin Dubai reported the story of a 20% diversity quota that would soon be implemented across UAE firms that were in the mainland region. But the mandate has now been put on hold today.

The reasons are still unclear.

An employee from the Emirates Professional Business Center has announced that visas for skilled labour cases are being cleared

Things have gone back to how it was, with visas being issued for skilled professionals.

Lovin Dubai has reached out to the MOHRE for a statement, but we are yet to hear back.
