Dubai Airport Was NOT On Fire: Videos Claiming A DXB Fire On Twitter Are Not Accurate

Avatar

There have been a number devastating fires in the UAE recently, but the internet will tell you there have been more.

Videos are going viral of a massive fire at Dubai International Airport. This did not happen. There WAS a fire at a Dubai Duty Free Warehouse in Umm Ramool on Monday, which is where the confusion may have begun.

On August 5, there was also a large fire at Ajman Market. Videos of both fires are going viral on Twitter, however many netizens are claiming these fires took place at Dubai Airport. This is not accurate.

The Ajman fire video, as reported by Lovin Dubai, had no casualties and Civil Defence quickly evacuated the area

Once again, this is a video of the Ajman market fire, however many people on Twitter are reporting this as Dubai Airport

Adding fuel to the fire…. more horrific and inaccurate videos claiming to be taken from Dubai Airport are going viral

No fires at DXB. It’s been a hard year, let’s not spread inaccuracies that could make it even worse
