Dubai Police Distributed Ramadan Vouchers To Families Of Inmates

Dubai Police and The Wasa Saleh Al Gurg Charity Foundation (ESAG) distributed Ramadan vouchers to families of inmates to help alleviate the financial burden on them.

In a statement by Dubai Police on Facebook, H.E Major General Ali Mohammed Al Shamali, Director of the General Department of Punitive and Correctional Institutions at Dubai Police mentioned how charitable activities increase during the Holy Month of Ramadan, adding that “Consolidating the values of generosity, philanthropic giving, and performing charitable deeds without expecting anything in return demands integrated and organized work among all concerned parties.”

Al Shamali added that Dubai Police has established “close relations with charitable organizations and institutions in the country and is always keen on establishing cooperation agreements and launching humanitarian initiatives to achieve social solidarity that reflects our true religion.”

Dubai Police also aims to help inmates’ families with bailing indent inmates, supporting their families financially, airline tickets, medical treatment and more

Dr Raja Easa Al Gurg, Chairperson and Managing Director of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group (ESAG), said that Easa Saleh Al Gurg Charity Foundation is always keen on donating to achieve the noble goal of relieving the financial burden of inmates and instilling reassurance among their children and families.
She also explained that the partnership with Dubai Police aims to provide assistance and support to the inmates of the Punitive and Correctional Institutions in Dubai, including bailing indebt inmates, supporting inmates’ families financially, paying off fees for necessary legal documents, airline tickets, providing medical treatment, tuition fees, school supplies, and providing children of female inmates with daily necessities and clothing, etc.
