In pursuit of rapid response and emergency rescue, Dubai Police’s new marine patrol boasts a top speed of 45 knots, a four-speed automatic engine, and can accommodate two passengers, weighing 320 kilograms.
Brigadier Al Suwaidi, Director of the Ports Police Station, emphasized that the patrol would be stationed in water channels, lake areas, islands, and tourist destinations.

Dubai Police had also unveiled a project for self-driving patrols equipped with facial recognition technology, further elevating their commitment to cutting-edge law enforcement and public safety. This is set to increase residential security through the deployment of self-driving patrols equipped with 360-degree cameras and advanced facial recognition technology.
Moreover, the patrol vehicle not only offers an impressive 15 hours of battery life but also operates at speeds of 5-7 km/h. The vehicle utilizes smart technology and AI to detect criminal behavior, recognize faces, and read license plates, setting a new standard for law enforcement innovation.
