Emirates Just Dropped a MAGICAL Expo 2020 Ad Starring Chris Hemsworth!
WOWZA now that is an advertisement that’s worth the VIEWS!! This ad is unlike any other, which reminds me of the one with the legends, Zac Efron and Jessica Alba. Both amazing productions that showcase our beautiful city.
But this ad is exclusively for EXPO 2020 that’s opening in just a few short weeks.

In 2019, Chris Hemsworth flew to Dubai to shoot this Emirates ad for Expo2020
How did they keep this under wraps for 2 full years? Well let’s agree that it was released at the perfect timing as we’re all counting down the days until Expo 2020 open their doors.
The ad is futuristic, magical, and so full of life! It was directed by Robert Stromberg, who is an American special effects artist. Honestly it deserves some kind of award. The ad shows Hemsworth walking through a futuristic version of Dubai and the Expo site with the rendition of the song Pure Imagination by Gene Wilder, that played in the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
Chris Hemsworth stated that this ad will “help bring awareness to what is a really important event for the world”
He shared the video on his socials and captioned it:
In 2019 I partnered with @Emirates and @EXPO2020Dubai, to help bring awareness to what is a really important event for the world. We all have the power to build a better world and shape the future, and the last year and a half has shown us that the possibilities are endless when we put our minds together. At Expo 2020 Dubai, the world will come together to provide real life solutions to help preserve our planet for future generations. If you are able to travel and you feel it’s safe, I sincerely hope you can make it.
