There is a lot to love about Dubai, particularly if you’ve taken the decision to move here. Perhaps it was the brunch and beach days, tax-free income, safety or the luxurious lifestyle that was sold to you by Dubai Bling (we all want that life). Whatever reason brought you here must have been important to you to prompt that change.
James Murphy wrote it all down in a Twitter thread.

James and his family lived in Australia for 10 years then relocated to the UK for 5 years before moving to Dubai. He tweeted “Unfortunately, the UK is not as safe as it used to be. We had 3 cars stolen between 21 and 22 including a home invasion whilst we were sleeping.”
His number one point of moving was safety, saying “As a father and husband, I need to raise my family in a safe place.”
His second point was networking, saying “Dubai is the gateway to the world now. It’s a phenomenal place to meet like-minded people, connect with business owners, and pursue new business opportunities. I’ve made life-changing connections since I moved to Dubai.”
And his final reason was taxes! James tweeted, “The UAE does not levy a tax on income. I pay zero tax on EVERYTHING I earn which makes a huge difference. They are planning to issue a 9% corporate tax rate in 2023 but personal tax will remain zero long term.”
