Fans Are Lining Up To Meet Shah Rukh Khan In Sharjah

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is making an appearance at Sharjah International Book Fair TODAY and the queues were out the door!

The 57 year old actor will be receiving the Sharjah International Book Fair’s first Global Icon of Cinema and Cultural Narrative honour.

The award is SIBF’s initiative to recognize and honor individuals whose efforts in their career have helped transcend cultural barriers and whose contributions to the arts have created cultural ties between varying identities .

Over his 30 years of acting, the beloved Indian Superstar have appeared in more than 80 films and received recognition and admiration from across the globe.

It is not Shah Rukh Khan’s first involvement with the country as he is the face of various ad campaigns in Dubai and was awarded the UAE Golden Visa.

 

Thousands of Shah Rukh Khan fans are eagerly anticipating his arrival in Sharjah

The SIBF have dedicated an entrance for the star’s fans only as they are expecting a busy evening. Khan’s fans have also lined up hours before the event as those who arrive first are served first.
