1. Meydan One Mall

The developers promise a slew of world records upon completion including the world’s longest indoor ski slope that spans one-kilometre. The mall is also vying for the title of world’s largest dancing fountain, which will cover a total area of 25,800 square meters. Now, that’s how you make malls interesting in the times of e-commerce.

2. Sky Walk

Is it just me or do interconnected twin buildings really have a magical allure to them? Whatever the case the renditions look fab. That cantilever in the shot below is where this building’s observation deck will be located, and it’s nearly 200 meters above ground. Definitely not for the faint hearted.

3. Dubai Hills Mall

This is expected to open really soon – earlier than any other project on this list. When Emaar Malls is behind any project you can clearly expect the best as they’ve done a fab job with other malls in Dubai. The mall will span a colossal 2 million sq feet and function as a prime attraction of the Mohammed Bin Rashid City that’s in the works. It has a huge outdoor concert arena too.

4. Burj Jumeirah

Another iconic landmark in the making, the desert-inspired Burj Jumeirah skyscraper looks like a dream. Apparently, it will become the go-to spot for NYE fireworks.

5. Heart of Europe

Trust Dubai to always have something OTT in the works. The Heart of Europe project, which is being developed on six islands entirely composed of reclaimed land, promises to raise the bar on luxury. Can’t wait!
