A Robot Has Been Given A Job In Dubai

Anika Eliz Baby

Ameca.

That’s a new name you need to remember as you go into the future because she is surely a sight to witness.

The Museum of the Future has just hired the world’s most advanced, AI-powered humanoid robot.

Manufactured by Engineered Arts, they describe Ameca as, “the world’s most advanced human-shaped robot representing the forefront of human-robotics technology.”

Ameca can make facial expressions, interact with visitors and even crack you up with her sense of humour

Ameca is not your regular robot and this is proof!

You can find her at the Museum of the Future’s Tomorrow Today exhibition, a project that explores the contrasting ways in which technology can contribute to solving societal and environmental challenges.

It features more than 50 exhibits, including prototypes and current products focusing on five areas: waste management, environment, food security, agriculture, and city planning.

Watch Ameca speak to visitors at the Museum of the future below!
