Hundreds Have Visited QE2 At Port Rashid To Offer Condolences

Many in the UAE have been wanting to pay respects after the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The retired British ocean liner, which was converted into a floating hotel in Dubai, is welcoming people to pay respects and offer condolences at the QE2 in Port Rashid.

Since the announcement, many have travelled to QE2, leaving flowers and notes and writing in the book of condolences

Everyone is welcome to visit between the hours of 10am – 6pm

Flowers have filled the lobby at the Queen’s bust

The British Embassy in Abu Dhabi confirmed that those who wish to do the same may do so at St. Andrew’s Church, Al Barq Street in Al Mushrif from September 12
