Let’s hear it for these volunteers! They spent their Saturday morning, on World Humanitarian Day, packing 7,000 school kits for kiddos in need.

You read that right! Hundreds of people banded together at DP World this morning to pack 7,000 school kits

World Humanitarian Day is an international day dedicated to recognize humanitarian personnel and those who have died working for humanitarian causes. So, it comes as no surprise that folks in Dubai dedicated their time to a good cause. Dubai Cares and DP World partnered up and gathered hundreds of volunteers to pack 7,000 school kits for little ones in need. In the span of 8-9 hours, they registered, briefed, grouped the volunteers, and packed all the bags. The kits included backpacks, notebooks, pencil cases, stationary and all school essentials.

This cause is to help support children’s education that come from low-income families and for orphans across the UAE are truly inspiring.
