Dubai folk are nothing if not seasoned travellers and therefore you’ll surely have an opinion on the following new tool implemented by Japan Airlines.
Japan’s national carrier announced an update, which will notify passengers during seat selection if they have chosen a seat next to a child.
A crafty way to ensure passengers can avoid screaming babies if they’re quick.
If a passenger is between 8 days and 2 years old a child icon will be displayed on their seat to notify other passengers. Japan Airlines introduced the tool this week and the debate on social media is ongoing, with some praising the flight seat strategy as ‘brilliant’ while others are deriding the airline for a lack of empathy.
