UFO Or Drone? A Flying Object In Jebel Ali Is Mystifying Residents

Avatar

With the year we’ve had… this is not even that shocking.

Footage featuring a blurry plate-shaped object hovering over Jebel Ali beach is confusing the internet. The object appears in the frame for about 20 seconds, before the film cuts.

It was reportedly snapped on Tuesday at Jebel Ali beach by Jovic Alamons and the video shared on YouTube nods to a UFO sighting in the caption, which reads, “INCREDIBLE UFO SIGHTING ON JA BEACH DUBAI 8-25-2020” and it’s racked up 1.5k views.

Settle the debate: Drone, UFO… something else?

The comments are a mixed bag with the majority suggesting this is a fake

Some commenters are unimpressed, ‘Nobody here seems very excited, it’s like ‘oh no another UFO, boring’, with another commenter adding that although the video isn’t using technology to create a fake video, others CAN do so.

“Not real. Bonus** this video doesn’t use holographic technology BUT we must be aware that this technology does exist and can visually simulate physical objects in the air. Who has access to it? No clue.”
Some think, people the creator used photoshop and it’s like moon-landing conspirators all over again…
“This one is too suspicious. It’s shaking too much, lighting is wrong. I’m gonna agree with the adobe premier comment, it’s superimposed”.
Some suggest alternative reasons as to why this is a fake…
“If I was taking a video of a real UFO, I would have kept filming until I saw how it departed. That often reveals a lot. In this incident it could be one of several man made things, so, not very impressed.”
