After all the online shade received by Dubai Bling, Kris Fade has come out in defense of the Netflix show
The radio host took to Linkedin to write why the show didn’t deserve all the negativity, especially from people within the region:
#DubaiBling The most watched show to have ever been produced, created and developed in the Middle East….ever!
He believes that Dubai Bling will revolutionize the region’s film and television industry adhering to the fact that the show is currently in the top 10 charts globally – a feat accomplished for the first time.
We have people in Missouri, USA watching and loving a show that is in Arabic!!!!!!
Kris says that it doesn’t matter if people like or dislike the show because it is hugely responsible for helping the region by creating more opportunities for local talent and having their work showcase and resonate globally.
Us Arabs, are talented, we’re creative, we’re leaders. We don’t always have to purchase the programs from the Western world, we can also create and sell our own!
