Farah Makhlouf

Dubai has loads of luxurious and expensive properties, no doubt, but who ends up purchasing these homes? The richest of the richest of course, from bitcoin enthusiasts to traditional businessmen who know the tricks of the trade.

Back in July, a report came out that stated the top five buyers of property in Dubai are from India, UK, Italy, Russia, and France.

Just a quick google search will show you that Dubai’s most expensive home is worth AED280 MILLION (USD80 million)

… and it was just recently purchased!

Dubai’s most expensive home is located on Palm Jumeirah and was purchased by Mukesh Ambani

If you’re unfamiliar, Mukesh Ambani is India’s wealthiest man according to (pretty much) all sources. He allegedly has a net worth of approximately USD94 BILLION, according to Forbes and Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

So, what does Ambani do for a living? He is the managing director of Reliance Industries Limited, one of the largest private companies in India, with interests in refining, oil & gas, petrochemicals, telecom, retail and media.

In 2008 he was considered one of the wealthiest in the world.

Why did he purchase this estate? According to multiple sources, he purchased it for his youngest son, Anant. The 10-bedroom home has a private spa, and an indoor and outdoor pool — not too shabby!

Who sold it? Conor McKay of Belleview Real Estate.
