Meet The Emirates Rugby Team Made Up Of Cabin Crew That’s Playing At Sevens This Weekend
The Emirates Airline women’s rugby team is gearing up for this weekend’s Rugby Sevens and they are impressive.
Made up of cabin crew, the team, the EK Firebirds come from 14 different countries – Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and UK along with Romania, Slovakia, Namibia, the Czech Republic, the Philippines and Nigeria.
The team started in 2012, with four cabin crew members interested in playing rugby, and has now expanded to 15 members, and growing.
