Schools And Universities In The UAE Will Continue E-Learning For Another Week
The National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) held their weekly COVID Media Briefing today and announced that UAE public schools and universities will continue with e-learning for an additional week.
Also, in-person examinations have been postponed until at least January 28, based on the assessment of the pandemic situation in the country.
“This decision is applied on the national level, and local authorities and teams in each emirate have the flexibility of implementation” NCEMA stated.

Abu Dhabi public and private schools will extend online learning for a week
Abu Dhabi’s Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has approved the extension of remote learning for all educational institutions for a week, starting from January 17. The decision is to facilitate the safe return of students, teachers and administrative staff. This goes for all public and private schools, universities, colleges, and training institutes.
They stated that Dubai, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah, are allowed to receive students on campus but with additional COVID safety rules.
Schools across the country were already online learning from January 3, 2022, as instructed by the Ministry of Education.
