Someone Left A Note After Bumping Into A Parked Car Because It’s The Right Thing To Do

Farah Makhlouf

There’s nothing fun about going back to your car and seeing a dent or scratch, but it happens! It’s unfortunate but many people return to their cars and realize someone steered a little too close to it. So, what’s the decent thing to do in this case?

@Prithvi_r99 noticed that someone bumped into her car and left a mark but she also found a note!

Someone bumped into her car and left a note with the report number on it because that’s the right thing to do!

So here’s what you should do in the case of a minor traffic accident or hit-and-run situation

Go to the DubaiNow app, select Report Traffic Accident service on the homepage, disclose the number of vehicles involved, and scan the vehicle plate number. Then take a photo of the area that was damaged through the app and select who is responsible for the accident. If both parties cannot agree on who’s liable then they must call Dubai Police on 999. Alternatively, all parties should go to the nearest police station to file the report.

The party found liable will have to pay a fine of AED520.
