3. Food and Beverage is available (vegan and vegetarian too!)

The focus at COP28 UAE is on delivering environmentally sustainable, socially responsible, delicious, and nutritious food and beverage. This is a key priority for the Presidency, and they are striving to show the world how climate-friendly food can be tasty, healthy and affordable.

All dietary needs are being kept in mind, ensuring two-thirds of the menus are vegan or vegetarian. Working with Nutritics, they aim to ensure that 50% of the food served within sustainable limits for carbon and water intensity and is within UAE nutritional guidelines. We are working with our F&B vendors and waste management partners to ensure minimizing waste and packaging through compositing and recycling is a priority.
