The Federal Supreme Council Has Elected Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed As President Of The UAE

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will be the next president of the UAE, the Supreme Council, reported by WAM on Saturday.

The Crown Prince and now President of the UAE will now be the third president of the UAE, succeeding Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s role after his passing on May 13.

This makes HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed the 17th ruler of Abu Dubai

Sheikh Mohammed, in retort to the election express his “appreciation for the dear trust that his brothers, their highnesses, members of the Federal Supreme Council, have entrusted him with, praying that Almighty God helps him succeed, helps him in taking on this great responsibility and meeting it in serving the UAE and its loyal people.”
