The Next Long Weekend Has Been Officially Announced In The UAE

Farah Makhlouf

Great news! You can expect the last weekend of September to be a long one because Friday, September 29 has just been announced as a public holiday.

To mark the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday (PBUH), September 29 will be off for both the private and public sector employees

The Federal Authority For Government Human Resources (FAHR) first made the announcement for those working in the federal government. Shortly after, The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) came through with the same announcement for private sector peeps.

This won’t be the last holiday to expect in 2023 because exciting news awaits this December!
