The UAE has taken a significant step to help Sudanese refugees affected by the ongoing crisis in Sudan.

Through the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and the Emirates Red Crescent, the UAE has sent urgent food supplies to thousands of families displaced by the crisis in Sudan

The aid is aimed at easing the burden on refugees on Chad’s border with Sudan, where basic food supplies have become scarce, particularly for vulnerable groups such as patients, children, the elderly, and women.

The UAE’s initiative to provide urgent aid reflects the country’s commitment to assisting refugees in any way possible, particularly during times of need

The country has pledged to participate in international relief efforts to help those in need, aligning with the directives of its leadership to provide assistance to the Sudanese.

The current crisis in Sudan has led to the displacement of thousands of families and a shortage of basic food supplies, which is affecting vulnerable groups, including patients, children, the elderly, and women. The aid sent by the UAE aims to alleviate the humanitarian burdens on Sudanese refugees at the Chad border and mitigate their suffering caused by the lack of essential food supplies.
