The UAE’s Hero Astronaut Returns Home After A 6-Month Space Mission

UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi has been on a 6-month long space mission and returned to Earth on September 4. But today, the country celebrated his return to his home!

Sultan Al Neyadi arrived at Abu Dhabi International Airport this evening and was reunited with his 3 children at last

He also received a warm welcome from The President of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai

HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, welcomed astronaut Sultan AlNeyadi back to the UAE.

Al Neyadi had one of the biggest celebrations upon his return to the UAE

All four UAE astronauts took part in the #SultanHomecoming ceremony. Al Neyadi was accompanied by the first UAE astronaut, Hazzaa AlMansoori and the two who are currently under training with NASA, Nora AlMatrooshi and Mohammed AlMulla.
