When the news came out that the World Cup 2022 will be held in Qatar, the Middle Eastern countries probably cheered like their own countries actually won. In 2018, the World Cup was played in Russia. Finally the Middle East will be right in the middle of the action!
Asian and Middle Eastern countries are all sectioned off into groups, in time to start the game. The draws will be made and the schedule will be announced. But for now, the UAE is in Group A in the AFC Asian Qualifiers and it has a long way to go to qualify for the World Cup.

The head coach for the UAE is Bert Van Marvikk and we’re firm believers that he’s the secret weapon behind their ongoing success. To put the World Cup in simpler terms, Group A will play against each other, Group B will play against each other and so on. Who will play against who is determined in a fair draw. When the final winner of each group is determined, they will play against the winner of the other groups.
For the UAE to qualify for the World Cup 2022, they need to beat Iran, Korea, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon in Group A of the AFC Asian Qualifiers. Then they will need to play the winner of Group B.
The draws have not been decided yet, just the groups. As we inch closer and closer to the game, the teams will be decided. For now, we’re all VERYYY excited that the action will be next door in Qatar.
